The Collapsing Empire is the debut novel in John Scalzi’s newest Sci-Fi series, which is scheduled for a March 2017 release. I don’t know much about the book, but if it’s half as good as Old Man’s War I’ll probably enjoy it! The cover is so similar in aesthetic that I initially assumed it was another installment in the Old Man’s War series. Very classic sci-fi cover.

I’m looking forward to this too! It will be interesting to read a new space opera from Scalzi that’s not from the OMW universe!

I only read the first book in Old Mans war, but really enjoyed it. Also enjoyed Lock In and Dispatcher, so looking forward to trying a new series by Scalzi.
